A record-breaking 765 Marilyn Monroe lookalikes took part in the Marilyn Jetty Swim at Brighton Jetty, South Australia. The Marilyn Jetty Swim was founded in 2014 by the ”founding Marilyn,“ Sarah Tinney, who organized the event after losing her mother to cancer. It has since become an annual event aimed at raising funds for vital prevention, research, and support programs that help Cancer Council SA reduce the rate and impact of cancer for all South Australians. Over the past 10 years, the event has raised over AUD 1.3 million.
